Barrie Field is an Emergency Physician who lives and works on the Beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland. He is a passionate advocate for improving Mental Health Care in the Emergency Department. He is a current DEMT with a keen interest in Education and trainee welfare. He contributes to the Queensland Faculty Board as Mental Health lead, the ACEM MHWG and as a the QEDSAP representative on the Queensland Crisis System Reform and Shifting Minds oversight Committees and the SRAM implementation group. He has an interest in Mental Health research, data and novel Models of Care. In his spare time, he enjoys relaxing in his garden and cultivating Bonsai.
